FAQ Scholarship
The scholarship includes digital participation in the management learning journey "Factory of the Future". This includes 12 two-day events over two years. The learning journey starts in September 2021.
Every student who is enrolled in the winter semester 2021/2022 can apply. We are particularly happy to receive applications from students who have a certain affinity with the factory of the future and are interested in the topic or are studying a related degree programme. As the events are held in German, a good knowledge of German is also a prerequisite.
Today's factories are innovating change. By networking with our best practice partners, the participants of the learning journey can become pioneers. In cooperation with Bosch and Fraunhofer IPA, you can gather impulses and visit factories that are already lean, digitally networked and energy-efficient today. Experience bold ideas, clever concepts and smart technologies. Be there live and learn with the best.

The learning journey takes place under the patronage of Robert Bosch GmbH and Fraunhofer IPA. Other partner companies are Daimler AG, Osram GmbH, Viessmann Werke GmbH & Co. KG, Develey Senf und Feinkost GmbH and many more... Other companies are also taking part as participants. More information about the companies here:
All you have to do is apply and convince the jury with your application. During the event, we look forward to active participation and an interesting exchange with the community.
No, for you as an enrolled student and scholarship holder, participation is free of charge and provided by the best practice companies, as well as the organiser Macils Management Centrum GmbH.
The events take place digitally for you, so you can conveniently tune in wherever you are. This allows all students to participate, regardless of where they live.
We will contact you conveniently by mail in September 2021. There will also be a waiting list from which replacements will be determined if scholarship holders drop out or finish their studies.
If you change your degree programme or university, you can still receive your scholarship. We ask you to send a short email to stipendium@macils.de zu senden, um ihren Teilnehmeraccount auf den neusten Stand zu bringen.
Unfortunately, when you finish your studies, you cannot continue to receive your scholarship and someone from the waiting list will get your place. However, you can still participate in the learning journey. To do so, simply contact us at stipendium@macils.de and we will find a joint solution.
Yes, we gladly accept applications from students abroad. However, you should have a good knowledge of German, as the events are held in German.
You should be a registered student in the winter semester 2021/2022. We are especially looking for people who are interested in the factories of the future and an active exchange with each other and with our partner companies.
