A factory with a future opens its doors

The machine tool manufacturer Trumpf has repeatedly set milestones in the field of production. Already at the end of the 90s, it succeeded in revolutionising assembly with the SYNCHRO lean production system and making the machine tool "flow" for the first time. With a delivery time of just one day for customised tools, the company is now the "Amazon" of smart tool manufacturing. Now the company is also rethinking its core competence of "machining" and has opened a new plant for this purpose, which points the way to the future in the topics of lean, green and digital.
