A high and increasing product variance during the product life cycle poses constant challenges for production. In addition, changes in the material mix or the further development of the product lead to constantly new capacity and resource requirements. A rigid configuration of production is no longer efficient.

In order to be able to react adequately to these influences, adaptable production systems are needed that can be adapted to changing circumstances within a short time. Resilience is required, i.e. the ability to adapt to new situations, to learn from them and to emerge stronger.

In this context, so-called matrix production systems have been discussed in recent years and are already being used in industry in many cases. These consist of self-sufficient process modules that are connected without a belt and cycle via flexible material transports.

In our webinar "Matrix Production - Adaptable and Resilient Production Systems", we will show you how matrix production can help you to quickly adapt your production to changing requirements and thus increase the resilience of your production and act economically.

Your added value:

  • You get an overview of resilience and adaptability in production

  • We give you an insight into the basic procedure of matrix production

  • You can assess the potentials of matrix production for your use case

  • We report on practical applications and best practice examples

Programme:

  • Changes and challenges: What are resilience and adaptability

  • Presentation of matrix production and advantages in the context of current challenges

  • Practical insights and project experiences

  • Implementation options

  • Questions, discussion, open exchange
