Lean as the basis for the factory of the future

Lean management supports productivity development but is also the foundation for the new challenges in our factories! Lean experience provides support on the path to CO2 neutrality as well as in the implementation of Industry 4.0 or the sensible use of AI applications.

But how can lean successes, once achieved, be sustainably established? And how can new and young employees be introduced to the tried-and-tested methods?

A combination of best-practice sharing, open exchange of experience and joint workshop work is intended to stimulate the further development of the company's own lean approaches.

The exchange of experience and transfer workshop will take place live at CeramTec in Lauf. CeramTec has been systematically adapting the proven lean methods in its factories to the challenges of the very different processes in the business units for many years.

Topics in the exchange of experience and workshop

How do you simultaneously ensure the productivity of systems and employees and optimize value streams and throughput times?

Can the topics of energy efficiency and digitalization be driven forward with proven lean approaches? Does this fit in with existing lean organizations?

How do you ensure the sustainability of successful lean implementation over many years and how do you involve the next generation of employees?

How can new potential be recognized from the available data? Can this be partially automated or even delegated to “AI applications”?

In this two-day experience exchange and transfer workshop, best-practice examples are exchanged and new impetus is provided.

In the first part, participating companies present their path, initial successes and challenges and share their experiences.
In the second part, process models and exercises are presented to improve personal skills and try out methods and procedures in practice.
